The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, answering inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.
  • Reservations Management: Manage room bookings, handle cancellations and modifications, and provide information about available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  • Customer Support: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer phone calls and emails, direct them to the appropriate departments, and provide information as needed.
  • Payment Handling: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain and update guest records, manage the distribution of keys/cards, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
  • Security: Monitor the lobby area, control access to the building, and follow safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hotel management software, reservation systems, and basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to handle guest issues and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
 

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and participating in recreational activities.
