The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall maintenance of our establishment. Your leadership and attention to detail will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Supervision:
   - Oversee and lead the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housekeepers, and janitorial staff.
   - Assign tasks, establish work schedules, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
   - Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

2. Quality Assurance:
   - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
   - Set and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
   - Identify areas in need of repair, maintenance, or refurbishment and report them to the appropriate department.

3. Inventory and Supplies:
   - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
   - Place orders for supplies, amenities, and linens as needed while staying within budgetary guidelines.
   - Ensure that cleaning products and equipment are used safely and effectively.

4. Guest Satisfaction:
   - Address guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
   - Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
   - Strive to exceed guest expectations by maintaining a welcoming and pristine environment.

5. Training and Development:
   - Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and guest service.
   - Promote a culture of teamwork, excellence, and attention to detail within the housekeeping department.

6. Administrative Tasks:
   - Maintain accurate records of room assignments, inspections, and housekeeping schedules.
   - Prepare reports on room occupancy, cleanliness, and maintenance issues.
   - Assist with budget management by tracking expenses and labor costs.

7. Safety and Compliance:
   - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
   - Conduct regular safety training for housekeeping staff.
   - Report and address any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisor role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping software or systems.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical demands include standing, walking, and participating in recreational activities.
