The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for mixology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve drinks: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked, including the preparation of garnishes and ensuring glassware is clean.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and inform management of any shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to provide seamless service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs) during shifts.
  • Possession of a valid alcohol server certification.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and participating in recreational activities.
