Pool & Beach Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services:

   • Greet guests warmly and provide information about pool and beach facilities and services.
   • Assist guests with setting up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
   • Ensure guests follow safety rules and guidelines.

2. Area Maintenance:

   • Keep pool and beach areas clean and well-maintained.
   • Regularly check and clean pool and beach areas, including furniture and equipment.
   • Remove trash and debris from the pool and beach areas.

3. Safety Monitoring:

   • Monitor pool and beach activities to ensure guest safety.
   • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Pool & Beach Supervisor.
   • Assist with enforcing hotel policies and safety regulations.

4. Equipment Management:

   • Set up and take down umbrellas, lounge chairs, and other equipment daily.
   • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues.

5. Customer Assistance:

   • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
   • Provide information about hotel amenities, activities, and local attractions.
   • Assist with any special requests or needs from guests.

6. Support Duties:

   • Assist with organizing and hosting poolside or beach activities and events.
   • Support lifeguards and other staff as needed.
   • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pool & Beach Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of pool and beach safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
